A LOVE LETTER
Being held. laying in someones arms, knowing that they would do anything for you. waking up to someone and smiling and having them smile back. you know what i’m talking about… those moments where you are cold, and you are sharing a blanket with the one person in the world that means the most to you, and you have their sweatshirt on. your hair is all messy and your breath smells and you nuzzle up to their neck and they nuzzle you back and wrap their arms around you. and you smile. and fall right back asleep. those days and nights where you give in to him, but it’s not in a bad way - it’s giving him what you both want. the happy moments, the secret smiles. going out with your family and saying something they don’t get, but he gives you that look that tells you he got it and he found it funny. when he tells you how beautiful you are. and then, your family looking at you both together, and immediately they see just how much you adore one another. and then there’s that amazing feeling of pride and comfort, when your family tells you they’re happy, for you have found someone so worthy of your love. then there’s the tears after a big fight. and they hurt, and you’re hurting- but immediately, he rushes over to dry them from your face with his kisses. the beauty of being completely swept up and caught up with him. and him with you. the fulfillment of being best friends. the pain of him thinking he is not good enough, so he wants you to find someone that is. and the assurance in knowing that he is wrong- thus you refuse to find someone else because you want him, and you know there’s no one better. the complications. the tears. the heartache and the feeling of just knowing somehow, that you are in love through it all. :) via - teddyme
